I have been a line and copy editor for 15 years and working directly with authors and book-length manuscripts has always been my greatest joy. Over the years I have honed a superpower of seeing and fixing both macro and micro issues in a manuscript while having authentic relationships with authors. While zooming in and out with my editorial lens on the page, I won’t lose sight of your goals and intentions.

As a developmental editor, I specialize in shaping (planning and revising) full manuscripts. I am a Story Grid Certified Editor and apply Story Grid's methodology to my editing and coaching. The Story Grid integrates classic communication theory and cognitive science to demystify the powerful psychotechnology that is storytelling. If you are already a plotter, we can nerd out together on structure while getting your story written and finished. If you are a pantser, I can help with the structure and detail work while you channel the muse.

As an Author Accelerator Certified Book Coach, I always meet writers where they are at in their writing journeys and work to set a clear path for them moving forward. I especially like working with retired or transitioning professionals who have had success in one career and want to bridge to the next or leave their legacy by writing a book.
